Excerpt from Chapter 4: Aliens and Fairies

If we can try to open our minds and accept that not everything has a scientific answer to it, maybe we can try to take the viewpoint that there is something to the strange stories that people have told since early human history. Small humanoids, coming into our rooms, paralyzing us and doing unspeakable things to our bodies, or so say the abductees.

Aliens have long since been in the fore front since the 1940’s or maybe further back. Strange lights in the sky, missing time and fourth kind encounters. Some people believe that aliens and the Fae folk are one of the same thing. Aliens abduct people and experiment on them; however, some abductees claim that they are probed with something that looks like a wand. Faeries use wands. 

The aliens in legends are not those from space but rather from underground. From our own Earth: faeries, trolls, elves and others that are in the fantasy genre. All alien encounters seem to mimic fairy abductions but with a modern sci-fi twist. Let’s start first with faeries. They are creatures of the forest and of nature. The word faerie has been overused to describe a supernatural race of beings that live in the forests around the worlds. Faeries come in different shapes and sizes.

  Elves are also considered to be classified as faeries, even though their height is over five feet and six inches. Some faeries are 6 to 12 inches in height others are man-size. Trolls, Gnomes, Sprites, dwarves, et cetera, all fall under the Faerie folk. They are real, no doubt about it! Think about the hundreds of people who have mysteriously gone missing in the forest? How? Why? Something to ponder isn’t it? The description of fairies varies but most are slender and have large eyes. Oh wait. Am I talking about Aliens? No, although some descriptions are similar by comparison.

*The fairies of long ago were very far people removed from the ones depicted on a modern-day Christmas card. Contrary to the belief that fairies grow to barely five to six inches tall, the creatures of old reached heights roughly around three feet tall. They were most often described as looking very old, wizened, and even sinister.

I don’t know about that but faeries including elves, are not as diminutive as people think. They use glamour to appear less threatening to Humans.
