What are Trigger Warnings?

Yes, what are trigger warnings: Trigger warnings are a specific variety of content warnings that attempt to forewarn audiences of content that may cause intense physiological and psychological symptoms for people with Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and other anxiety disorders.

What does Content warning mean: content warning is a general term. It suggests the material may have sensitive content that may upset or offend anyone.

I personally didn't know the difference until recently but I still put TRIGGER WARNINGS  for those who are too sensitive to sexual content that I post regarding certain books.

Under my new  pseudonym,  I am currently writing a book that has some sexual content in it and an age gap romance between two main characters but when I say age gap, I am referring to one being 18 and the other being a few years older. Anyways, you would think that people would understand that I have 2 blogs where I post different content on them. On this blog I post content related to books I've written under my pseudonym, Cecile Garcia not CG Heandez. So, I am going to share this screenshot image I took of another authors' post that they shared on Threads and I do hope people adhere to what it's trying to say.

My advice:  If you don't like certain content, don't read it but don't ruin it for everyone else who is not TRIGGERED by what offends you, just saying.
